A Southington woman is facing charges after police said she was drunk driving while a teenager was in her car.

On July 3, police arrested 33-year-old Jenessa Ives, and charged her with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, and risk of injury to a minor.

Officers had received a call about an erratic driver who appeared to be under the influence.

Police were able to locate Ives, and take her into custody.

A 15-year-old was in the car with her at the time.

She was released on a $2,500 bond and is expected to appear in court next week.
